 Management Setting
WEB management panel
Video Chat for Education offers an entire web management solution. In Login webpage, please log in as the admin.
By default, both the user name and password of administrator account are “admin”.
Admin Users
In users’ control panel, there is all the information of the all the users, including teachers and students. You can find, edit and delete users here.
Click the “Edit” button beside the user and you will go to the user editing panel. As the picture below, you can change the user’s information, including level and other items.
Course List
Display all the courses information here.
The admin has the right to edit and delete the courses.
Chat Management Panel
By clicking “Enter Chat” in the Course List panel, the admin goes to the Chat Management Panel directly.
Monitor
Here the administrator can see all the user's log in/out information and chat history. There are two buttons at the bottom.
Stop:
Stop monitoring. When you click the button, all the information (users' log in/out and chat history) won't be recorded. And the button changes into "Start". Re-click the button; you will start the monitoring function again.
Clear:
Clear all the record including users' log in/out and chat history.
Setting
There are 4 options on the up part of the panel. If you want to enable the option, just select the square in front of it. And if the function has been started, there will be a mark in the square. Re-click to stop the function and the square showed empty.
Time Zone is for Chat time zone setting.
Room
Display the ongoing courses. Click Remove Room button, then the course will be stopped immediately
Choose one from the following Course List and click to enter the course.
In the course interface, by clicking the “Return” button on the right corner, you can return to the admin’s control panel.
News
Here you can set the news on the top of the Chat. And you have choice on which room users can see the broadcast. If you choose Broadcast, the news will be shown scrolling on the bar at the top of Chat window. If you choose a room, then the news will be only shown in the public chat window of that room.
TIPS: When the admin edits the broadcast news, the system takes the first line as title. The user can click message in the rolling bar then see the whole message.
